Frank Mujica works and lives in Havana. He studied at the Superior Institute of Arts (ISA) and the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in Havana, and at NYU’s documentary film program. His work has been exhibited throughout Cuba and internationally. Mujica’s work has been indirectly influenced by Cuban painters Domingo Ramos and Tomás Sánchez. International influences include the 17th century Dutch and Flemish landscape painters, the Barbizon and Hudson River schools, and artists such as Constable and Whistler.
