The American Friends of the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba leads unique curated trips to Cuba for individuals, small groups and organizations throughout the year who qualify under the present regulations. These thoughtfully customized tours offer an insider’s view of the thriving Cuban arts community. Our partnership with the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba, a uniquely non-governmental organization located in Havana, gives us unparalleled access to Cuba’s contemporary art scene.

Stay at five-star hotels or boutique Casa Particulars as you explore Havana through a carefully designed program featuring exceptional cultural experiences. Highlights include a guided walking tour of colonial old Havana, a private tour of Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, visits to Cuban art collections led by specialists, the chance to meet artists at the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba and in their own studios, a visit to the Hemingway museum Finca La Vigia, and exciting nightlife events, concerts, dance performances and more.

In addition to these activities, some of our travel programs are scheduled to coincide with Cuba's year-round special cultural events, from the 39th International Jazz Festival in Havana (January, 2024) to the 44th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema (Havana Film Festival, December 2023). We often venture out of Havana for overnight stays at some of Cuba’s other striking destinations such as Trinidad/Cienfuegos, Matanzas/Varadero, Viñales and more.
